This Scottish Export earned 43 points at the 1996 Novembeer Fest competition in Redmond Washington. It was brewed by Ted O'Neill of St. Louis, MO. .

Pseudo Psotch Ale took First place and Best of Show in its category.

recipe for 5 gal   
Malts:	1 lb.	M&F Crystal Malt
	0.5 lb.	M&F Chocolate Malt
	6.6 lb.	John Bull Light Malt Extract
	1 lb.	dark brown sugar
	0.5 lb.	M&F Extra Light Dry Extract
	0.5 lb.	M&F Light Dry Malt Extract

Hops:	2.75 oz.	East Kent Goldings (AA=4.5)

Yeast:		Wyeast 1728 Scotch Ale yeast (1.5 pint starter)
Original Gravity:	 1.060.  
Final Gravity:		 1.012.

Brewer's Notes:
Steep grains in 1.5 gal water for 40 min. at approx. 160F. Sparge with 0.5 gal water. Add extracts and bring to boil. Add 2.25 oz. hops. Boil for 60 min.. Add 0.5 oz. hops 5 min. before end of boil. Transfer to plastic fermenter and add 3 gal. cold water. Primary 4 days. Secondary 10 days. 2/3 cup corn sugar for priming

Novembeer Fest is an annual brewing competition put on by The Brews Brothers , the "Malting, Mashing, Sparging, Hopping, Barming, and Drinking Society of Greater Seattle." They host a great homebrewing competition every fall.
