Hops: .75 oz Halletaur 60 min
.5 oz Halletuar 30 min
.5 oz Halletaur 5 min
Yeast: Wyeast 3056, Bavarian Wheat
Starting Gravity: 1.052
Final Gravity: 1.010
Mash notes: 25 min protien at 125 degrees, single decoction of 1.5 gallons heated at a rate of 2 degree a minute to boiling and boiled for 20 minutes; added back into mash to hit 154 degrees mashed for 30 minutes, Sparged to get 6 gallons of wort for boiling. Used a ¼ teaspoon Irish Moss for 45 minutes of the boil.
This was the Wheat Beer brewed for last year's Wheat month meeting.
Malts: 7 lbs Steinbart's Wheat Malt
Hops: .5 oz Tettnanger, 4.5% 60 min
.75 oz Hersbrucker, 2.9% 60 min
.25 oz Hersbrucker, 2.9% 5 min
Yeast: Either Wyeast British 1098 or Wyeast German 1007.
Starting Gravity: 1.055
Final Gravity: 1.014
